Museums We have many products and services exclusively for museums. For years we have supplied DVD programs to national park visitor centers and historic sites. They regularly sell DVDs in their gift shops and on-line. Now we have a new special offer for qualifying museums! Our new offer: We will come to your location and shoot in high definition a program that you believe could be sold as a DVD in your museum and on-line (we can provide you with distribution on-line if you are not set up to do this.) The shooting, editing and replication to professional DVD is a free service. In exchange for this free service, you agree to sell the DVD at your location and on the internet. We will also have the DVD to sell through our distribution channel. The DVD will cost you 60% of the retail price, meaning you will make 40% profit on each sale, which is yours to keep. We require that you start with a minimum inventory of 10 DVDs. So, if the retail price for the DVD is $14.95 (a typical retail price) then your total out of pocket cost to get started is $89.70 plus shipping for the first 10 DVDs. Once you sell the 10 DVDs you will have made $59.80 profit. All you do is agree to order enough to keep a minimum inventory of 10 DVDs on hand and display them in your shop and have them available on your internet site. To get started, simply email us a description of the program you would like us to produce. We will let you know within 10 days if you qualify for this service. Quality assurance guarantee: If you are not completely satisfied with the quality and content of the program, we will modify the content until you are satisfied or abandon the project at no cost to you. DVDs are a great way to promote your museum and generate revenue at the same time. Since all of the content on the DVD will be produced and originate with Almont:MediaLAB there are no copyright issues that you have to deal with. Almont:MediaLAB fully authorizes you to sell the DVDs through any outlet or sales channel that is appropriate. Your museum will receive 40% from every sale including sales that Almont:MediaLAB makes through its own direct distribution on the internet. Your only commitment is to agree to purchase the DVDs we produce for you exclusively from us and to pay us 60% of the selling price for all inventory (a minimum of 10 DVDs).
